Some truths here: Mueller already knew the FBI’s Peter Strzok didn’t like President Donald Trump yet still hired him, according to FBI and DOJ sources.
But that has little to do with why Strzok was expelled from the Special Counsel’s team.
Embattled FBI Section Chief Strzok has been labeled in recent days as Trump-hating gigolo who had a salacious sexual affair with a married FBI lawyer and for those reasons he could no longer serve on the investigative team of U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
Yet that, again, has little to do with the real reasons Mueller sacked FBI’s Strzok, a high ranking section chief, sources in the FBI and DOJ said.

If Strzok is leaking sensitive information to the press, is it too unreasonable to consider the possibility that he has leaked FBI files to Hillary Clinton?

IMO Strzok in under investigation for leaking by the DOJ. It is why DOJ and the FBI have been reluctant to provide information about him or allow him to speak with the Congressional committees. They are afraid the investigation will be compromised.

It was no longer secret once the FBI raided Manafort.

If Mueller did not charge Strzok, you could use the same logic of the left and say that Mueller is obstructing justice. The case should have been turned over to the DoJ. Mueller is hiding something more.

Article says that Strzok leaked details about the great Manaforts NKVD-style raid that only a member of Mueller’s inner circle could know, and thus Mueller identified Strzok. But the old inner circle has continued leaking like a sieve after Strzok’s transfer, and no one else has been fired... Strzok either leaked something Mueller actually wanted to keep hidden (unlike all the stuff Mueller wants leaked), or S had become a liability about to be exposed.
I bet Manafort’s lawyer will be inquiring about Strzok role, especially in designing and conducting the Manafort raid.
