It seems your blog is popular. And probably for some good reasons.

I still think if you’re posting your own material here, you shouldn’t excerpt it, and you should be up front about it being your blog. I don’t think you should be farming FReeRepublic for customers.

But what the heck, I don’t guess it matters much.

I am upfront about it. Any time someone criticizes something in or about the blog, as you did, I always explain that it is my work, saying “governs=Finkelstein.”

I’d also add that there’s a history behind my cross-posting of items at FR.

I began critiquing the liberal media close to 15 years ago with vanity posts at FR. My focus was the Today show, during the awful Katie Couric era.

After posting here for 2-3 years, I was invited by Brent Bozell’s Media Research Center to become a professional blogger at NewsBusters, the blog they were creating at the time.

So, respecting the tradition I had established, I continued to cross-post my items here, with the knowledge and approval of the people at both FR and NewsBusters. I continue the tradition to this day.

I do not cross-post my work anywhere else.
