Singapore Airlines has unveiled the new interior for its fleet of Airbus A380s.
Features include an all-new first class suite, business class seat, as well as new premium economy, and economy products.
The new interior for its 19 superjumbos will cost the airline $850 million.
On Thursday, Singapore Airlines unveiled the all-new cabins that will be installed on its fleet of Airbus A380 Superjumbos.
Singapore Airlines is the A380's launch customer and the aircraft's second largest operator. After a decade in the airline's inventory, the double-decker fleet is getting an all-new look.
"The significant investment that we are making with the introduction of new cabin products demonstrates our commitment to continued investment in products and services, our long-term approach to ensure we retain our leadership position, and our confidence in the future of premium full-service air travel, Singapore Airlines CEO Mr. Goh Choon Phong said in a statement.
"The new cabin products are the culmination of four years of work, involving extensive customer research and close partnerships with our designers and suppliers."
The design, development, and installation of the new interior on the 19 A380s will cost the airline roughly $850 million.
In total, the new interior will feature 471 seats split into four cabins; six first-class suites and 78 business class seats on the upper deck along with 44 premium economy seats and 343 economy seats on the main deck.

Not turning off my ad blocker.
I can honestly say that if I was worth a billion I'd never fly anything more than Business Class and even then I'd only do so on the really long flights.I have no problem tolerating 6 hours in Coach.
Others will disagree of course.
I was last on a flight in 2002.
The 777,787 and the A350 are the long haul aircraft of the future.
Some company here is building supersonic airliners again.
All I see is me worrying about bed bugs after I paid 20 grand for a ticket
No floor to ceiling walls? That is going to be a noisy flight.
LOL!
Not until I figure out how to turn it back on immediately.
There isn't any "news" worth reading that I need to pay for. Not today. Not ever.

I rode Singapore Air, a 787 from Houston to Singapore; lovely aircraft. Lovely flight.
I believe even the 737MAX will now get you to Europe...assuming one wants to feel like a piece of Norwegian wood.
WOW!
The 787 and the A350 are the only two jumbos that I haven't flown.Everything I've read suggests that they're both nice machines.
Not too much - although I’ve always felt that Business Class for long flights (10+ hours) were worth the money for a business person who needed to be ready to go on arrival. I will admit I also felt it was a bit of a perk that helped offset the inconvenience, lost personal time, having to stay over weekends to get lower fares, etc that were often imposed on me as a business traveler. But in fairness, if I had to write that check rather than my company or client, I might have felt differently.
Sing Air was always at the top of the luxury list, but this is really excessive for business travel. But hey, it’s a free country (sort of)...
In order to prevent problems my doctor has ordered me to spend as little time as possible in my seat during a flight. That's difficult particularly during long flights.Last year we flew from Johannesburg to Boston with a two hour layover in Dubai.I spent much of that time in the galley trying to pick up a stew! :-)
Still popped up.
