The vast majority of blogs you see being excerpted on FR
do not have this restriction.

I had only known the last part, due to discussions here with people who surprisingly support freepers posting tantalizing excerpts of their own blogs for fun and profit.

I don’t post many articles, but I’ve found it’s easier to just post a snip than to peruse some list. I err on the side of caution.

Thank you, shibumi. I would never have guessed that word as a link to that information but, thinking about it, it makes sense. And good information about “do it unless you can’t do it.” I was running the algorithm in my head the other way. This makes more sense. Thanks to all for the help.
