Kaepernick’s complaint says Trump and Vice President Mike Pence “engaged in various public relations stunts designed to retaliate against Mr. Kaepernick and other players that have joined in Kaepernick’s peaceful protest.” The complaint calls Trump “an organizing force in the collusion among team owners in their conduct towards” Kaepernick, and claims NFL owners have described Trump’s administration as “causing paradigm shifts in their views toward NFL players.”

sounds more like a grievance against trump than the NFL. I wonder it grievances against unrelated 3rd parties are also included in the NFL collective bargaining agreement?
.............as a now certified, life time foe of the NFL I am happy Kaepernick filed his little lawsuit. The lawyers will soak the NFL for millions and Kaepernick will pay a fortune and it all will result in a big goose egg for Kaepernick!
Meantime, it will keep the horrible NFL publicity up front and center before the American People still in doubt about this insulting, publicly funded, organization.

I think there are plenty of aging but recently serviceable QB’s who would be called back into service by NFL teams before this guy ever gets a call.
