During the Clinton Administration, the Drudge Report was just an obscure news accumulator site until it became the first news outlet to report the fact that Slick Willie was having an affair with one of his interns in the Oval Office. We found out later that several fake reporters at major mainstream media outlets had had that story, but sat on it for months until the Drudge revelation force them to actually do their jobs.
Fast forward to 2017, and we have NBC News issuing a report Tuesday morning, based on nothing but the alleged statements of several unidentified sources, that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson got angry at his boss one day, and referred to him as a moron. Given NBC News track record, the public can have no confidence whatsoever that any of NBCs alleged sources really said that to its fake reporter, or if indeed these sources really even exist.
But there it is. And so, the Secretary of State, his staff and press spokesperson, the Vice President and his staff, and even the President of the United States of America and his staff had to take time out of their incredibly busy schedules on Tuesday to refute a story that is an absolute disgrace to journalism, and which the same fake reporters and fake editors would have never even considered filing in any Democrat administration. To make it all even more disgusting, the President was peppered with questions about this disgrace of a non-story by leering fake reporters while he was in Las Vegas on a mission to comfort the families of the victims of Sundays mass shooting in that city, and to thank the police officers and others who intervened to prevent further loss of life.

Why?
Because it gave them to opportunity to say “Trump” and “moron” over and over again.
I heard that Hillary eats babies. There should be non-stop headlines and stories with “Hillary” and “cannibal” until she has a press conference and give the story even more traction.
NBC, the “National Black Channel”, plus a good portion of ALL major media outlets have been creating, twisting and generating “news” for years.
I thought “NBC” stood for “Nonsense, BS, and Claptrap.”
Or “Nothing But Crap.”
I happened to catch a haolf hour of NBC this morning...
How do these people have any business being on TV anymore? It was nothing but constant Trump bashing.
They had the entire half hour on some story about Tillerson calling Trump a moron. Trump denied it, expressed support.
Tillerson dismissed it, his spokesman denied it... and they would not stop -over and over about “chaos in the White House”.
I have not been watching TV news for weeks- and it was all news to me- if that was all I heard i would be going bonkers.
The NothingButCrap and the CorruptNewsNetwork...now that's a pair of losers for you.
And, STILL, these same ass-clowns are provided PRESS passes and *allowed* to ask the asinine questions
Whomever is running the comms room over there should be let go, geez....
I think it’s out of the administration’s control and in the hands of some press association. So the more appropriate response might be to cancel the previous agreements with the press and offer a new agreement that gives the administration some additional powers. Sort of like with the trade treaties.
Watched NBC evening news the other night, you would think that Trump went to PR to toss some towels to his cheering audience. That is not unbiased reporting, that’s reporting by politically biased scum bags.
Gave up watching MCM evening years ago maybe a decade and then some. Wife watched Today until I told her she could watch elsewhere not in the family room. She tried CBS and I said no to that claptrap. ABC also watched out. Now in the morning watch FOX for news.
Did you hear that NBC said "moron" huhuhu.
OANN on cable is our most recent news source. Very relaxing presentations with history lesson commercials. Its a young crew, but feisty. They should catch on in lieu of FOX.
I disagree. It only means ‘Don’t call on those SOBs’. Nothing else need be done.
Sad part is they did SO WELL at the beginning, then seemed to have hired the same swamp-things and it all fell right back into the same, existing groove...
That works for me! Good thought.
