“The thing I noticed most was how aggressive/intimidating they all were about telling the reporters and citizens what WE need to do. They came across as VERY arrogant and threatening, like what they wanted to say was: “don’t you DARE question us!” And: “We’ll tell whatever we want, when we want and you WILL believe it!”
I saw some of that and agree. They used “no conjecture” as a talking point.
