FAA website associates that tail number with a Cessna 152.

FlightAware associates that tail number with a Cirrus SR20.

Not the same aircraft at all.

FlightAware data run from Jun 2006 to the present

FAA data contain no date.

WTF?

My reading of the FAA data seems to show the Cessna was deregistered in 2001.

The Flightaware info is more recent. Does the FAA commonly re-issue tail numbers?

The Volant LLC seems be a similar name, but is it the same outfit as the defense contractor?

Details need more details.

The N number was changed. It’s N145AW now. The serial number of the aircraft is 1402.
