I’ve stayed at Mandalay Bay and those windows don’t open. They would have had to break them out lime he did on the 32nd floor. It would be interesting to know if that was the case
Sure looks like firing from the lower floor there.
What appears to be muzzle flashes are very distinct, and it is not a reflection, because it is only from that window.

Check at 4:57 in the video—video from car passing Mandalay Bay picks up rapid flashing from a 4th(or so) floor window.

There was a flashing strobe type light in one of the windows at the hotel very low down. I saw it on some news reports the next day.
Thanks for the “Cabbie” video; very interesting. Does look like flashing from a lower floor in sync with the gunfire sounds. I wonder if it could be a reflection? Although that would be strange.
That is a strobe light. I listened to a recording of the scanner traffic during the incident and an officer specifically mentioned a strobe light around the 4th floor and that it was not muzzle flashes.
If you watch the video it is constant and continues flashing when there’s no audible shooting.
Definitely not muzzle flashes.
