From my foxhole the US Special Forces hates the RedCross. That is good enough for me.
It is either rebuild TX or Somaritains Purse for me. Maybe I will just 50/50 my Donation.
Quite a few in the military have had a bad view of the Red Cross since the 1950’s.
I have seen the local Salvation Army step up to the plate right away, not even waiting for national. One fire where my father was on the local VFD had the Salvation Army showing up while the fire was still going, providing food and hot drinks for those displaced and the first responders.
