Sig has already called for a “voluntary upgrade”. You can go to their website to get all the needed info for returning your gun for the fix.

They found a way to defeat the safe trigger and Sig has fixed the problem. This is not the first time in the industry that recalls have occurred to fix problems.
Disclaimer. I don’t own a Sig P320, but I do intend to add one to my collection of military issue hand guns at some point.
Second disclaimer. I do own a few Glocks as well as Springfield XD’s. Glad to hear they passed the test with flying colors.
Don’t drop your gun. I have two Sig Suer P320, a full size and subcompact. Will check out the fix. temporary or obvious solution is to not keep a round in the chamber.
I think this is only a concern for the French and Italian military.
