The web page says it opposes the left but item #15 is the giveaway:

People are not the means to someones else's end. Each of us is "An end in and of ourselves". Free trade is a vital part of liberty , therefore economic liberty IS an end in itself. This ideal is the American ideal:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
What you see here on this "alt-right' website is , like the left, somebody trying to formulate some grand Utopian vision by moving people around like chess pieces. This collective vision of ordering people around to get some vague "higher goal" is the very essence of the left and every other totalitarian ideology. Ronald Reagan put it this way:
You and I are told we must choose between a left or right, but I suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down. Up to man's age-old dream the maximum of individual freedom consistent with law and order or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism.
Good find but I don’t think that #15 is necessarily a socialist platform as written.
I consider myself a die-hard free market capitalist and anti communist. To me, a socialist is just a communist with a different employer.
But I don’t believe in anarchy either. I think there does need to be republican law to reign in the bad actors and I also believe there should not be the culling of favors between business and government.
Such patronage rarely benefits the public and I think this may be where they are coming from, given their #13, anti-globalist stance because the freedoms infringed by “globalism” are the same as infringed by patronage, just on a larger scale.
Nevertheless, you have excellent points. I don’t really know a lot about this group but I’m not really buying the media mantra equating them to nazis. I think they’re right on the line and toeing it, but have not actually crossed it yet.
Compared to the groups I know Soros supports, this one seems quite distant in beliefs so for the time being I will continue to disagree Soros is behind them. However I will be on the lookout for his fingerprints.
