Every gallon of gas burned emits 20 pounds of carbon dioxide,
*********
That’s ridiculous.
“Every gallon of gas burned emits 20 pounds of carbon dioxide,
*********
Thats ridiculous.”
It’s also bad math. A gallon of gas weighs what, just over 8 pounds? How can you increase the mass through burning?
What is ridiculous? The premise, gasoline, carbon dioxide, photosynthesis, what?
It’s probably accurate, but they don’t say how much the plants use. No CO2 means no plants.
A gallon of gas probably weigh less than 7lbs, but emits 20lbs carbon dioxide? And they pop off this bullshit with a straight face.
Plants use CO2 for food...
You have to realize that drugs are a problem.
Exactly ... that statement right there invalidates anything else stated in the so-called "article". A gallon of gas weighs about 8 lbs or less. How do you get 20 lbs from 8 lbs?
“Every gallon of gas burned emits 20 pounds of carbon dioxide,
*********
Thats ridiculous.”
Yeah, that caught my attention too. What’s a gallon of gasoline weigh, maybe six or seven lbs? And, carbon dioxide is in a gaseous state. I would have to see the math in this before believing it for sure.
I think water is 8 pounds, gas I think is 6. It’s a good thing the Libs are the people who love science, cause they aren’t so good at math. How can you get 20 pounds of carbon out of 6 pounds of gas?
