Swamp monster, Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell has the gal to criticize the president for 'excessive expectations'. McConnell hasn't passed any significant legislation. McConnell wasn't even able to corral his majority to fulfill a 7 year promise to repeal and replace Obamacare, hasn't started on tax cuts, but feels emboldened to blame president Trump for his inaction.
During a speech in Kentucky, McConnell said Trump's "artificial deadlines" are "unrelated to reality."
Now our new president has of course not been in this line of work before. And I think had excessive expectations about how quickly things happen in the democratic process, McConnell said.
And so, part of the reason I think people feel like were under-performing is because too many artificial deadlines unrelated to the reality and the complexity of legislature may not have been fully understood.
Republican Senate must get rid of 60 vote NOW! It is killing the R Party, allows 8 Dems to control country. 200 Bills sit in Senate. A JOKE!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2017
3 Republicans and 48 Democrats let the American people down. As I said from the beginning, let ObamaCare implode, then deal. Watch!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 28, 2017
If Republicans are going to pass great future legislation in the Senate, they must immediately go to a 51 vote majority, not senseless 60...— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 28, 2017
Below is McConnell's speech at the Kentucky Florence Rotary Club:
Mc Connell is and always has been in the pocket of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its’ big Nickel Donors.
That's my take, anyway.
Other than Gorsuch the GOP senate is a walking, talking, money grubbing, corrupt joke to the country and to its base.
McWeasal should have scolded Trump for having ANY expectation whatsoever for any actions. GOP Senate=French Army
Good thing for Mitch is that I had no expectations of him, and so far, he’s delivered.
The Senate republicans underMcConnell’s leadership are not worth a sack of dog poop.
I’ve got news for you McConnell..
Those expectations come Directly from WE THE PEOPLE!
Now get off your lazy behind and get to doing what WE THE PEOPLE are paying you to do.
McConnell is correct whether we like it or not. The Senate is constitutionally designed to move slowly and deliberately.
When one party is 100% in opposition to anything significant it makes the process even more glacial than usual.
There will have to be more election victories to get what most of us want. Patience is required from Trumpsters but we can be assured that the President won’t relent.
We are dealing with a force as Evil as has ever existed, a force which would not shrink from genocide or political assassination. It is as serious as it gets and will only be defeated by unity and perseverance.
Have those complaining written to Senators and Representatives about what needs to be done? Real letters, not email.
I am sending off another two dozen after I close this post.
Write them, it is critical and be diplomatic.
LOL!
Well he’s king of the turtle slackers. They should be added to the endangered species list. But NOT protected!
Pathetic POS losers. They work as hard as Welfare Queens.
So, Mitch, it’s unrealistic to expect you to keep your promises and do your job?
I hope that fraud lawsuit goes ahead.....and succeeds.
McConman: How dare you expect us to act like Democrats do when they hold all the power?!
True. How could anyone expect the cowardly and feckless GOP to do anything?
Well, they sure passed sanctions against Russia in an awful hurry - how did that happen? Oh, right, it was an anti-Trump measure. Screws up or maneuvering on NK nukes, but hey, who cares about a little thing like nuclear blackmail when we are engaged in the holy right of preventing swamp draining.
Had to tweet similar after seeing the story.
