Did you single out anyone in your command? When someone underperformed, did you take them in for a one on one or embarrass him in front of the whole unit? If he isn’t pleased with something sessions does he should bring him in or fire him. Publicly tweeting out random thoughts is not the way to treat your hires. Loyalty goes both ways. He’s going to have trouble bringing in good people if his idea of management is to send out public tweets when he is unhappy. /flame suit on
My question is whether Trump has talked to Sessions about these things and he has refused. We know he has been hinting at wanting them for months.
My thoughts are that he is trying to force a resignation because of the bad PR of firing him, but yeah, this is essentially like firing him if he steps down.
Trump shows a disturbing habit of running his mouth too much and to castigate HIS pick in public like he did with Sessions is just poor leadership. He’s his own worse enemy many times.
Yeah, maybe he should bring in a few of the old staff writers from The Apprentice to create a new script for the WH. I think the show's unapologetically brash and sometimes abusive approach to treating people -- an approach that was highly successful over the show's 14-year run -- doesn't necessarily work so well in the "real world" of politics.
