“Wow. What world is that going to happen in?”
Well, if you are referring to cops killing someone who is, say, carrying concealed in Costco, it happened in Henderson Nevada a few years back. In the space of 7 seconds, the cops shouted conflicting instructions, and he went from not knowing there was a problem to dead.
And of course, Open Carry isn’t legal everywhere. MIlitary bases, Schools, Etc. It is legal in many places in Arizona, but I have yet to see someone open carrying. My SIL tried it, decided he didn’t like it, and stopped.
The “printing” problem can be caused by someone falsely accusing you of brandishing or threatening, and the cops arriving ready to shoot. Same with open carry.
Do what YOU want, based on the law. I’ll carry an LCP. Or an NAA. Or maybe not carry. Or carry a Beretta 92 during the winter...
CZ 75 in winter 40 S&W
CZ 82 most of the time
On a routine traffic stop they know who I am, I hand them the DL The CHL registration and insurance.

Comply and take it to the courts.
I’m familiar with the costco case. It wan’t OC, but a concealed handgun that became unconcealed while in the store. It was a crummy police shoot, but also an anomaly and partly the result of the person carrying refusing a request to leave. Plenty of stupidity to go around.
I’m amazed that you haven’t seen OC in AZ.
SWATting is a risk regardless of whether you’re armed or not. It’s also extremely rare. I’m aware of precisely one instance in VA where someone carrying a gun was SWATted. The police and the victim handled it well, the victim was briefly detained, and the person placing the call was caught and I believe charged.
