Not if you do not believe as Christians do. My Jewish husband used to say roses are reddish and violets are blue-ish if it wasn't for Jesus we would all be Jewish.

Jews don't evangelize outside of the ethnic Jewish community. It was Jesus who said to spread the Word of God to all the world. If not for Jesus, we would more likely either still be pagan, or Muslim. Either way (given how well the Jews were tolerated by pagan Rome) there's a good chance there would be no Jews.

the only problem with judge Roberts is he was compromised at the time of the healthcare decision because of an adoption that had legal issue where he would of lost in court if the issue had been pressed in the court because of treaty obligations with another country.

Both Roberts' kids turn 18 either this year or next. At that point, any adoption irregularities become moot.

Kids will be kids I suppose, and need their rebellious KEKed out mascots. I never imagined I could exist on Reddit. It feels too much like a William Gibson novel come to life — creepy.

I don’t have TV, watched Idol a few times years and years ago (I liked the auditions), do not like Adult Contemporary or Alternative radio.

I am in awe of William Gibson. I’ve read every one of his novels, some twice. His vision of the *future* is so prescient. Things he wrote in the 90s or early oughts are nearly exactly what happened. And his use of language....incredible. I’ll sometimes go back just to savor his wordsmithing. But, I get your perception of creepiness. It’s like the uncanny valley of a robot that is *almost* real. Real life skewed just enough to be alien.

Things change. I hope keeping up with it will help my mind stay flexible, even if I abhor some of the changes. I don’t want to become a caricature trying to pretend I’m still a kid, but I can appreciate the reddit crew. r/T_D is the future of conservatism. It’ll be their world after we’re gone.
