The Paris climate accord is a largely symbolic gesture that even supporters acknowledge lacks enforcement mechanisms and, even if successful, will have a statistically insignificant impact on the climate.
Reuters reports that U.S. carbon emissions will fall over the next decade regardless of whether America remains in COP21 treaty.
Nevertheless, the news that Trump is officially withdrawing America from the accord has brought on a level of hyperbole that is almost ... anti-science in its sheer disproportionality.
Here are the 14 most unhinged reactions to Trump's decision thus far.
14. Democratic super-donor Tom Steyer who as an investor in many green-tech companies is anything but a disinterested party thundered that Trump is "committing a traitorous act of war against the American people."
13. Ben Rhodes, Obama's former deputy national security adviser, experienced a complete meltdown on Twitter in reaction to the news. "Shame on those in Trump WH who know the science is real and Paris is our last best chance. There is no trade off that is worth this cruelty," he tweeted. Cruelty? Really? "A Rose Garden celebration of a step that denies science and hurts children. History will note those who participated in this moral wreck

Apparently only globalist leftists know science or care about the children or want a clean environment. Yeah. Let us know how that rebuttal strategy works out for you.

FTA: "9. The ACLU, an organization ostensibly centered around civil rights, offered the bizarre claim that leaving the Paris agreement is "a massive step back for racial justice and an assault on communities of color across the U.S."
The ACLU. conflating environmentalism to "racial justice". Sorry, your race cards have been deactivated. Isn't it peculiar how the enviro movement has always been overwhelmingly lily WHITE? Once in a while a Black celeb might, for a price, use their star power to shill for some eco cause. And a few "organic" farmers markets pop up in Harlem, Newark, East LA. etc. usually patronized by White yuppies from surrounding gentrified neoghborhoods. And sometimes an episode on Animal Planet showing natives in central Africa trying to save elephants, giraffes, rhinos or whatever the endangered species du jure happens to be, while under the watchful eyes of White biologists and scientists acting as so many "Great White Fathers". Speaking of Africa, how many of those people needlessly suffered and died because some econazis succeeded in banning DDT? But let's get real, when was the last time a "Brother" saved a whale? Or a "Sister saved a polar bear from the supposedly melting ice caps? 0bama? Sure, only because he owed the tree huggers big time. Whenever the Sierra Club, WWF, Friends of the Earth get together the only Blacks you would see are either holding mics or serving trays. These organizations may as well be Whites only clubs. Hell, I've seen more diversity at a NASCAR race.

I also recall the hysteria over the shrinking polar caps due to "global warming," that at the same time, the polar caps on Mars were also seen to be shrinking as well.
I asked my step-mother, who didn't believe that "An Inconvenient Truth" was a work of fiction, about it, and she blamed it on SUVs. I tried to explain that SUVs on earth couldn't effect climate on Mars, but she refused to believe it.

Kerry is not only a traitor, he also is an idiot. Who knew??????I knew, even before his performance as a microphone stand, a role that he was born to play.
