Understanding ‘why’ women rebel against this submission you speak of is necessary in understanding a womans framework.
Women have been bucking this since Geneisis when part of the curse on women was her desire would be to her husband and he would rule over her....Eve knew equality prior to that and we women still have this “need” which often expresses itself in the wrong ways.
And your forgetting something very significant....the Husband is called to ‘love’ his wife as Christ loves his own...A women will ‘never’ have a sense of jealousy when she feels ‘secure in her husbands love’...and it is up to him to create that security in her. If that’s not happening then no amount of submissiveness on her part is going to make a marriage work.

Women rebel because they’re testing for strength. The problem for men is it’s no longer legal to rule over a woman in the traditional manner. Most men have to resort to being willing to leave if she doesn’t behavior properly which isn’t a good foundation for a marriage. The best solution to this issue is for the community of believers to reject women who rebel against their Husbands. Social pressure is very effective.
It's certainly not going to happen when he buries himself in his work to escape instead of working on figuring out what the problem is. But men don't want to have to work at the relationship.
Instead they blame shift onto women and the comments on this thread bear that out.
