I don’t really like O’Reilly. He had waffled to appear fair.

But I hate the media more...I may give this a view. Or maybe he can get on that conservative TV channel...I don’t recall the name though.

(From another thread) - OAN, which stands for One America News Network (there's no second "N" in the logo), is actually beating Fox News sibling Fox Business in the cut-throat ratings race, according to Rentrak, which measures viewers differently than its rival, Nielsen.

Years ago, I watched MSNBC and CNN because FOX News was not available on my cable system. I expect that OAN will show up soon, in which case I can reduce my FOX watching. Will still watch Fix Business News, especially Lou Dobbs.

I don't care for O'R either but I hate seeing the left win one, but the left actually won this one when Murdoch Père turned the business over to the Murdoch Fils. Rupert is a left winger, too, but he is a businessman first and he had calculated that a conservative cable channel would make a lot of money as a niche producer serving a very large niche. He was right but now Fox is a long extant enterprise and the sons really don't understand Dad's permitting heresy in his business. They will run Fox eventually into the ground and chase off all their draws, winding up sharing the ratings level with CNN and MSNBC. I would hope Hannity can get himself a good start on a better gig and leave Fox and then the rest of the actual conservatives go, too.

I don't care one way or the other about Bill O'Reilly but this isn't the point.

What should be of great concern is the way that elements on the Left were able to successfully force Fox to buckle by successfully forcing advertisers to drop their support.

If they can do this so easily to O'Reilly, why not Hannity? No need to wait for some controversy to surface.

I never followed BOR much since I don’t watch much TV, but he always struck me as not so much “conservative” in principles but more like a “Reagan Democrat” of the ‘80s. Leaning traditional on some “social” (moral) issues, and so out of step with the leftist MSM consensus, but not exactly any consistent conservative.

In any case, what’s been done to him is ridiculous, and I hope he lands on his feet with some new venue(s) to reach millions. This podcast is a start, but I doubt that he will reach a comparable audience to what he had before now. What’s needed is the blowtorch of a real conservative alternative in cable and/or broadcasting.

Bet he don’t make that mistake again... (or at least I would hope he wouldn’t)

Scoring OReilly would be a major coup for OANN. He is miles above Graham Ledger. Bump Ledger to 10pm.
I like OANN best for hard news. I get a little us news, a little politics, and a little international news.
