A coalition of several groups opposed to the death penalty protested against 7 executions scheduled in the State of Arkansas. The rally was held at the Arkansas State Capitol on Friday April 14th. The 2 main guest speakers were West Memphis 3 suspect Damien Nichols and Movie Star Johnny Depp. Due to multiple lawsuits regarding the Death Penalty, executions by the state have been restricted to lethal injection and only with certain government approved drugs.
Opponents of the death penalty claim that 1 and 10 criminals executed are innocent. Many activists also advocate for therapy of those on death row. Although the families of murder victims are mentioned, they are downplayed and not even named during these types of rallies.
The state enforcing the law via execution is often called murder by death penalty opponents. There is also an attempt by some leftist Christians to compare executing a convicted criminal with the execution of Jesus Christ. It is likely that Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson will not grant clemency to any of the death row inmates and that they will be executed on schedule.

How can these Holyweird clowns endorse abortion which is the killing of INNOCENT LIFE, yet protest the killing of GUILTY CRIMINALS?
One word. Hypocrites!
The motive for being pro-abortion is that it is a method of escaping the consequences of sexual relations outside of marriage. Abortion proponents whether they will admit it or not want their orgasms, without care or attachment or responsibility. And if an unplanned child "accidentally" results from it why, its only an invisible tissue mass. Get rid of it. Keep the orgasms coming.
Why then do most liberals and too many celebrities among them oppose the death penalty?
It gives them a cause to believe in and champion, without even understanding why they are championing it. Because their lives are so vacuous and absent of any meaning otherwise. ALL they know to do with their lives is portray other people, often fictitious people at that. And so "causes" like supporting convicted murderers gives them a sense of purpose that mere celebrity cannot provide.
How can these people justify killing the unborn and simultaneously damn the death penalty?
Because either way, it comes from an abandonment of convictions and logic and responsibility. They want a thing which is impossible: an enduring society unhinged from natural law and limitations.
To attempt such a thing invariably invites madness.
I am confused ..
We need this lethal cocktail of drugs that companies do not want to sell and then there have been problems actually carrying out the execution with this cocktail
But yet we have 50,000 people a year die from heroin/fental ODs.
Maybe we should use that in executions? Might be more effective and cheaper

Echols and his two buddies were railroaded from the beginning. Whoever murdered the three little boys got away because the cops wanted an arrest.
But to turn this into an anti death penalty cause is nuts. Echols should know that if they ever caught the person who murdered these children, the only punishment would be death. These were such horrible, depraved murders.
As far as Johnny Depp, he’s a flake with too much time on his hands. Looking for publicity to show how much he cares.

The sensible thing for Arkansas to do is immediate enable the firing squad as an alternative means of execution, if the preferred method is blocked as a means *for any reason*.
They make this claim based on absolutely ZERO evidence.
I can "claim" to be the queen of England, but I doubt anyone is going to give me the key to Buckingham Palace.
The victim’s families ought to be able to bash their heads in with sledgehammers....
