The short reset on a 1911 trigger lends itself to rapid fire. You barely have to touch it to set it off.
Thanks. I believe you are correct. The single trigger pull held, and the slamming home of the slide nudges the trigger into the held finger to shoot another round. But, I think you’d agree, this one has been (dangerously) modified.
I got suckered into buying a Taurus 1911 long time ago. I should’ve invested at least in a Rock Island Armory 1911.
