Brian Williams Gripes About Cost of Launching Missiles Into Syria; It ‘Endangered’ Americans!
Newsbusters ^ | April 7, 2017 | Curtis Houck

Leave it to MSNBC anchor and serial liar Brian Williams to step in it on night of breaking news. On Thursday night after the U.S. military fired over 50 missiles at a Syrian military base, Williams whined about the cost of the missiles and complained that it endangered Americans.

Williams was speaking to NBC News chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel when he suggested they “look at it in brass tax terms” because “we just spent $30 million tonight.”

Additionally, he complained that the operation “endangered in launching these things, as you know, every time one of these clears the tube on a Navy vessel, everyone breathes a sigh of relief all the young sailors on these vessels that launch these things tonight.”

Bill Clinton did this kind of thing every time a new scandal popped up. He got us involved in a Civil War in Kosovo straight out of Wag The Dog. I don’t remember hearing a single time how it endangered our people or how much it cost.

This lying sack of leftist crap is still on the air? Damned, I thought he had signed up with Putin’s Russia TV. Well, if he’s at MSNBC, it’s the same thing, really.

How many Americans does he think would have been on a Syrian air base with two runways and 45 hardened hangers? Dolt!

Last time I checked Shayrat on Google Earth, there were thirty (30) jet fighters sitting out in the open -- on runways, in sand revetments, and just parked out in the desert surrounding those "45 hardened hangers" [sic]...

I'll say this for the Syrians: Those sand rats dig more holes and push more sand around than a thousand rugrats in a ten-acre sandbox... '-)

Trump was damned if you do, damned if you don’t. For the last 24 hours, the lamestream media has been showing pictures of gassed Syrians, and if he had done nothing, they would have blamed those deaths on Trump.

Anytime we can kick some Muslim ass without risking American lives, I’m fine with it.

LOL... s/b ‘hangars’.

I think it was Catherine Herridge on Fox News who reported that satellite images had shown 45 hardened hangars.

At least that airbase will not be usable for a long time and Assad gets the message that the other 5-6 bases he has are vulnerable.

I saw elsewhere that the missiles are dated and in need of upgrades, and that it would be cheaper to use them than to bring them back for that process. So we saved money. Winning!
