A Florida woman is being told to take down her Blue Lives Matter flag that's been flying for several years now by her homeowners association.
Jeff Gaddie told Action News Jacksonville that his daughter in St. Johns County has been flying the flag to honor him and many other family members who are law enforcement.
"She called to ask why," Gaddie said. "They told her they had received a complaint that it was considered racist, offensive and anti-Black Lives Matter,” he said.....

I saw that flag for the first time today at a Trump rally in Huntington Beach, Calif. There were dozens of them flying.
Since shortly after the whole stupid BLACK LIVES MATTER began and the morons began killing cops, because they were cops.
It sounds to me like the real racists here are the fascists at the “homeowners association”. I’m sure glad I live in a rural area where I don’t have to put up with this kind of sh*t.
Aren’t plenty of those “blue lives “ also black, brown, etc.?

Homeowner associations are also the bad guys in way too many cases.

And I hope the local police ticket the crap out of the HOA members who voted to bring down her support the police flag.
Towing a couple of cars, impoundment fees, court hearings, etc. cost money.

This has been covered 2 or 3 times here already but the real question is why isn’t the Black Lives Matter terrorist gang labeled a domestic terrorist group yet? Too much truth and not enough PC or something?
I think we know why they can get away with this. If they let one group, like the Blue Live flag fly, then they would have to let the sharia flag or gay flags or whatever flags fly too. It wouldn’t take long in the flag wars for the neighborhood to be extremely divided and trashy looking.
If you like your freedom don’t join a HOA.
She’ll probably have the police on her side, but it’s the judge who’s important. And they come from the lawyer end of the spectrum, who aren’t always pro-police.
Just make sure there is nothing with your name or address in the trash.
Colors don’t matter. It’s what’s inside that counts.
This is the crux of the matter. If the HOA has a rule against flags, fine. (I wouldn't want to live under the thumb of a homeowners' association, but I concede that they are entitled to set their own rules.) If the HOA wants to allow only certain flags, as defined above, fine. But if the HOA is not enforcing its own rules, allows all sorts of flags to fly, and then steps up to sanction one viewpoint, the HOA is wrong.
It would be interesting to know if any BLM flags are flying there. Or any other flags expressing a fairly direct political point of view. If no one has crossed into political territory yet, the HOA might be able to salvage its rule. Around here, I see mostly American flags, college flags, Marine Corps flags, and Redskins and Nationals banners. There are, however, a few BLM flags and rainbow flags here and there. If that's comparable to the spectrum in this case, the HOA doesn't have a leg to stand on because the political barrier has already been crossed.
