It's possible to respect a person who holds a different opinion. It's also very possible to CHANGE people's opinions on abortion. Mine was changed. I've changed the mind of several people over the years. Advanced ultra-sound equipment has changed a LOT of people's opinions.
If you don't treat the person with respect, then you lose ALL HOPE of changing their opinion.
Doesn’t work that way in real life.
