Go to youtube and search flat earth. Liberals, regardless of education, will fall for this tripe. Some of the videos are amazingly well done and are very convincing, if you ignore some basic facts - like during telephone conversations with my daughter, how far the moon is off the horizon here in KY vs how far it is off the horizon in California, where she lives.

There are many other ways just as sound to disprove it.

But the liberal mind is an interesting thing.

Well, she isnt a liberal... more of an independent person... not conservative.. but def not liberal.. and close to 50.

she got the idea from her dad I guess...

Liberals used to ridicule these beliefs until 9/11, when Muslims were added to the Favored Group Status. Then they had to start accepting oddball beliefs that came out of Islam/Islamic culture. They could no longer ridicule crackpottery for fear it came from a Favored Group.

I know of at least one l8ng time Freeper who also believes the earth is flat. We had a huge debate about it here a couple of weeks ago.
