If the earth is flat- what is on the underneath of it? Has anyone ever driven off the edge? how thick is this ‘flat earth’? Does a flat earth explain flat beer? If the earth has a flat, can’t we inflate it with fix-a-flat?
I personally believe basketballs are flat- and I don’t care what anyone thinks

You have to take into account atmospheric refraction as well as simple geometry. Refraction allows you to see things that should have “sunk” below the horizon at further distances.

No, the center of the universe yes, but no scientists ever believed in a flat earth, not since a couple centuries BC at least.

Seriously, to me they are the cutting edge of using technology to promote a boondogle, just as an experiment to see just how dumb you can make people look. They take a lot of work. Someone is creating them for a reason. And I dont think getting a lot of hits is it.
Seriously, you need to watch a couple, and check out the comments.
Interesting. Thanks. I’ll give it a look.

At one time, a flat Earth at the center of the universe was settled science Unless you are talking BC then, no.

Other religious people will tell you the earth is 5.4 billion years old. Some religious fanatics pointed a telescope at the sky and turned over some rocks and they told them so.....

According to NASA, the earth is smoother than a steel ball bearing centerless ground....- even with an extreme elevation change of +27000 feet to -36000 feet ( Everest and Marianas).

In this town, they allowed flunked senior high school students to parade across the graduating stage (in cap and gown) and receive a 'certificate of attendance' so that the Black community wouldn't be embarrassed at the large number of Black failures.

No, sorry, they didn't believe in a flat earth at that point either.
Like I said, you would be talking BC at the least.
And I doubt that many people with the exception of the landlocked believed it even then.
