Justin Cohen, a contributor to the Huffington Post and former member of the education policy committee for President Obama's 2008 campaign, stated that his goal for 2017 is to have white people realize that we're all on the "racism spectrum" and that white people need to stop being so "sensitive" about being called racist.
His article, titled "Three New Year’s Resolutions For White America," detailed what he is working towards in the new year.
"Resolution #1: We resolve to stop being so damned sensitive about the word “racism,”" Mr. Cohen writes. "Racism warrants discussion, but White people put too many conditions on the discussion of the phenomenon... We do not have the luxury to orchestrate conversations about racism so that they’re more comfortable for tepid White people."
To this end, all white people need to understand that they are, at least, a little racist against people of color.
"Resolution #2: We resolve to realize that all White people are participating in racism," he writes, saying that people born a certain race automatically have a specific attribute.
"That’s right, I said all. Sorry to burst your bubble, White lady wearing an “Assata Taught Me” t-shirt," Mr. Cohen explains. "The majority of our people sided with the Ku Klux Klan to elect an overt bigot as president... All of us are on the racism spectrum until further notice."
Mr. Cohen's third resolution is to "resolve to organize our people around anti-racist ideas."
He writes, "For centuries, being White in America meant reaping unearned power and advantages, relative to people who are not White. America’s power structure, to an almost comical degree, still reflects that version of Whiteness."
Mr. Cohen concludes, "Anti-racist White people must continue to make racism unacceptable, otherwise the White supremacist vision will continue to build power. And win."
Nobody is more obsessed with race than a liberal.
They pay fake homage to MLK, yet totally ignore the fact that Dr King’s goal was a ‘color blind society ‘. We were pretty much there until Obama came along.
We have two choices: Either "racism" is a horrible thing that should be condemned by everyone (the conservative definition of the word), or "racism" just means white (the modern liberal social justice definition). Do liberals really want half the country to simply dismiss the word "racism" as a term that no longer has any substantive meaning?

Pampered, white-guilt self-hating liberal decides to lecture everyone about how being white means you are obviously a racist. Every time one of these morons publishes an article or makes a video projecting their disfunctionality on to members of their own race it just leads to endless YouTube parody videos. They really should just shut up as they are only making things worse.
White people are “people of color,” too. We are pink, tan, freckled, have various eye and hair colors, etc.
I’ve been over being called a racist for decades. As far as I’m concerned, anyone who brings up race is a racist. So all the name callers calling us racist are racist.
And, as my tagline once read, “Making accusations of racism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.”

this guy is an disgrace to our nation, and if he is Jewish (given his last name of Cohen), an absolute embarrassment to our people and an unwitting kapo to Islamonazis and a flaming lib whose flaming libness feeds anti-Semitism, or would if conservatives were like liberals, who tend to hold all Jews responsible for the evils of “the Zionists.” Thanks conservatives for not becoming massive anti-Semites despite losers like him.

If we’re all racist until further notice, it implies that there is no way to get off that list. If we can’t get ourselves off the list no matter what, then there’s no point in trying. I don’t think that the Left intended to give license to actual racists to not try to reform, nor to essentially permit all whites to stop worrying about offending anyone by inadvertently saying the “wrong” things.

We’ve practically achieved MLK’s “dream”, but they respond by declaring relations worse than ever and acting to destroy any evidence of progress - just to prove how bad it is.
We did what was asked, and they didn’t like what it shows of them.
When are white leftists going to get “I’M SORRY I’M WHITE” tattooed across their foreheads? Then the politically correct white people, can be easily differentiated from the rest of us. On the down side, the rest of us would be sitting ducks, but on the upside, it would be easier to know who might be on our side. (The hundred or so white supremacist neo-Nazi types could just get a big swastika tattooed on their foreheads-—I don’t really want to hang out with them, either).
