Good for water moccasin snakes.
Related to the snipe, I bet.
Why just bring one shotgun? Like most members of the FR Boat Club, I took all of my firearms boating regularly . . . until the unfortunate accident.
That’s how millions of good weapons are tragically lost every year, fishing.....................
How about Croc fishing with a Jag??

Cormorants are a plague.
Just remember to open fire on the fish after dipping the muzzle under the surface. You get fewer ricochets.
Slightly o/t, but last summer I was night fishing for bass with a jitterbug and a giant bird swooped down on the lure. Luckily I saw it approach and jerked the lure away at the last minute. Otherwise I’d have hooked some kind of owl or raptor that would have been too much for me to handle.
I have a hard time imagining a cormorant is good eating.
I caught a seagull while dragging a Rapala lure though the water. Luckily I was able to reel him in and use a net to immobilize him. It was tough getting the hook out of his beak.
