‘This is Nixon/Watergate’: Trump Accuses Obama Of Wire Tapping Trump Tower Before Election

President Trump exploded on Twitter early Saturday morning, blasting former President Barack Obama for allegedly wire tapping his phones before the election.

“Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” he declared.

“Is it legal for a sitting President to be ‘wire tapping’ a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW!” he added.

Trump has the authority to declassify almost any classified material, and could substantiate his accusations if he wanted to.

The Saturday-morning Twitter storm was striking as Trump and Obama had largely appeared to paper over their differences — at least publicly — since the election.

“There’s still that matter that Hussein posted a forged bc on a government website...should be prosecuted for such crime. It would invalidate everything about Obama and prove Pelosi and Reid conspired to usurp the presidency in 2008.”

Wouldn’t that be delicious!

I can only hope that the Trump Team will expose all the supposedly sealed documents on Barky.

Wonder if he plays poker...

I was playing poker at the Taj Mahal Atlantic City in the mid-90's when in walked Donald Trump and his executive entourage. He was touring his hotel / casino making sure everything was up to par. Back then the Taj poker room was the biggest and best, as seen in the movie Rounders. As Donald walked by my poker table another player yelled out "Hey Donald we have a seat open if you're interested." He laughed and said maybe another time.

One side is going to win and the other side is going to lose terribly.

We're going to win. We have to. "All enemies, foreign and domestic. . "

Pray for America and Prepare.

Round up blue lipped Kenyan and a couple hundred of his appointees still lurking in positions of power, and suspend Habeas Corpus until things get figured out.

That should be the first order of the day.

I don’t think Trump is “playing 3-D chess,” but he’s really good at responding to the enemy and taking the offensive. Although I’m sure ever since this crazy “Russian” stuff came up, he or somebody among his associates has had people under him researching it.

That said, it sounds as if Obama got approval for the first FISA request, but may have continued the wiretapping without getting approval after the FISA expired.

But people here are saying that if he made a FISA request in June and the wire tapping was carried out in accordance with that, it’s okay? Why in the world should any court have approved a request, especially from a sitting President, to tap an opposition candidate?

This opens up something really major, and it doesn’t just have to do with Trump or whether you like him or not. This is serious and criminal abuse of power, not only by Obama, but by whatever court approved this.

“The crux of the issue is what justifies suspicion in the first place, that Trump’s communications involve foreign intelligence?”

Exactly. That’s what they’ve been pushing for months now, and like the predictable liars they are, they’re projecting. My biggest fear is that because Trump hasn’t been able to fully clean house yet and get his appointments through, there are still many Uniparty loyalists from the Obama and Clinton regimes in high enough positions to fabricate evidence against Trump. So many in our nation have been so dumbed down, and run on emotions, that with the help of the Ministry of Propaganda, they certainly could give it a good run, and probably will. If they do not succeed with this “silent coup”, there’s just too many of them looking at prison time for a multitude of issues, the very LEAST of which is Pedo/Pizzagate.

Eggszactly- you completly explain this far better than my “thingie” comment...its all bogus but some illegal stuff went on here and after watching Trump for a year and a half...he did not just “blurt” out the stuff about the wire taps....he has EVIDENCE ...unlike the Russian thingie and at the proper time will release it of have Sessions bring criminal charges hat we have here is a high tech watergate...you dont need burglars to go in an see files and stuff....it’s all on computers and wire communication which can be tapped offsight without anybody sticking a bug in a lamp shade or something out of the movies...

Not a natural-born citizen was allowed to occupy White House for 8 years.
That surely was the greatest political crime in USA history.

Any possible wrongdoing about wiretapping Trump will never be pinned on Obama personally.

I am disappointed in Trump for not asking Sessions to use Arpaio’s evidence about Obama’s fake birth certificate to start serious attack on team Obama.

Obama must be discreditted completely to the point of people being ashamed of associated with him in the psst, only then will MAGA policies be possible.

Otherwise, team Trump will continue chasing numerous side obstacles created by remaining Obots in the government.

If there was nothing damaging produced by the surveillance at Trump Tower, is this a case of no harm to Trump and therefore no foul committed by Obama?

Without probable cause (and there wasn't) this is clearly an abuse of power by 0bama.

The biggest no-no in American politics is to use the surveillance power of the government against political opponents. This is what Nixon was caught doing, and what 0bama appears to have done is easily as bad, if not much worse.

We may reasonably infer that the fishing expedition on which 0bama embarked produced no useful information regarding criminal activity, because if it had, we undoubtedly would have heard about it before the election, or at least by now.

It appears that the FISA warrant request(s) were denied up until the point that Donald Trump's name was removed from the text. In other words, the 0bama administration went out of its way to obfuscate the real target in order to gain approval of the request.

Although this is all preliminary information, it doesn't look good for the Democrat party. Indeed, it stinks to high heaven.

The fact that your hero Mark Levin has become so fiercely engaged on this point should be an indicator of the seriousness of what's coming out.

0bama was terrified of having his legacy destroyed, and was counting on Hillary to win, and it looks very much like he may have crossed a line in his efforts to prevent the former and insure the latter.

At this point it should be clear to you that the Trump administration is quite capable of handling all of these developments, despite your frequent carping. He has overcome virtually insurmountable odds over the last two year, and will continue to do so, and all we ever seem to get from you is hand-wringing regarding his style or methods.

We are in a monumental battle here to preserve the Republic, and to rescue it from the grips of the Deep state and the Establishment.

It's time for the fence-sitters to take a look at the big picture and decide what is most important: political expediency or the survival of this Republic; second-guessing or loyalty.

Given the stakes, there is little room for lukewarm attitudes or pettiness. Hopefully people like Mark Levin are beginning to realize that.

Mark Levin certainly isn't being dismissive of this story, and the facts are slowly dripping out. There is no doubt this unethical surveillance occurred, and little doubt about the auspices under which it was authorized.

This whole Russian silliness is about to blow up in the Democrats' faces, and rightly so.

But the evidence accumulating at this point certainly doesn't have the appearance of "no harm, no foul". Under no circumstances is "no harm, no foul" a valid characterization of what went on. Quite the opposite.

Obviously we're not going to be able to get anything useful from the Mainstream Media, so it will be the alternate media that ultimately provides the damning facts...

Everyone knows that if Barack Obama wanted to wiretap Trump or anyone else, he wouldn’t be constrained by the legal requirement to get a FISA warrant. He believes he is above the law.

Remember:

Obama wiretapped the parents of Fox News’s James Rosen — with no legal authority that I know of.

He illegally used the IRS to punish political opponents.

He illegally used an executive order to give amnesty to “Dreamers” — a power even he admitted he didn’t have.

He and Eric Holder intervened ion the ongoing case against the New Black panthers to end the prosecution — after the Bush Administration had essentially gotten them convicted.

So why wouldn’t hve wiretap Trump, with or without a warrant?

Exactly. #44 does not think laws apply to him, he justifies all his crimes. Talk about the lawless one.

The FISA request in June was denied, they came back later with one that was then approved.
