Sen. Chuck Schumer said the firing of acting Attorney General Sally Yates was part of a 'Monday Night Massacre' enacted by President Trump. In an impromptu speech on the Senate floor Monday evening Schumer called Yates, who was fired by Trump, a "profile in courage."
SCHUMER: We've had a number, a large number of eloquent speeches about the president's executive order. And while they were going on, of course, we had a 'Monday Night Massacre.' Sally Yates, a person of great integrity, who follows the law, was fired by the president. She was fired because she would not enact, pursue the executive order on the belief that it was illegal, .......

Hey Schumer. She refused to enforce the law - which she is sworn to do, so she deserved to be fired ( even though she would have been gone shortly after Sessions is sworn in anyway ). I guess it is shocking to you that we finally have an administration that will follow the law.

Schumer has Trump inside his decision cycle and it’s driving him crazy.
During the election cycle and the transition, I went to National Review to see what the NeverTrumpers thought.
I have to say that in the last week, they have been shockingly pro Trump, for the most part.
I don’t think they expected such swift, conservative action.
Schumer always was a whiny old man, Trump is running rings around him. Ole Chuckie is going to collapse from all his whining.
OMG, what surprises me is, he didn’t use the term, “the night of the long knives”.
Here we are at the end of January and Schumer has already wrapped up the award for Douche of the Year and leads the pack for Asshat of the Year. I guess he wants the hat trick so I nominate Chuck U. for Steaming Pile of the Year, too.
Nah...MacArthur was well known to Americans...this Sally chick is an unknown. ..you are giving it way too much power and weight.

People seemed to be divided on firing McArthur. I believe Truman was right.
Chuck has failed REPEATEDLY to do so, especially over the last 8 years. I’ll be trusting President Trump on this - not chuckie
Yates did not follow the law.
She ignored a legal order from the President.
I hope she loses her benefits and pension.
She should not be confirmed or given another federal job.
She has no integrity, as she should have resigned.
One person does not a massacre make, Chuck. Do yourself a favor and stop making a fool of yourself.
Perhaps it should be an aborted baby (crying) in the DP seal.
