Since Free Republic has come back online, I can no longer access it using the Brave browser. The page loads, but as soon as my sidebar appears, the page errors and I get this message:
The HTTP response body is transferred with Chunked-Encoding, but the terminating zero-length chunk was never sent when the connection is closed.
Has anyone else experienced this and have a solution or an explanation?
take two aspirin with a shot of laudnum and call me in the morning.
If all else fails, try deleting the app and re-downloading it.
Works fine on a Mac
There’s a change noted here too - for the better. FR loads faster and fewer quirks, like when making a post there no longer is that time lag between hitting the ‘Post’ button and when it actually posts.
Using Chrome on Slackware 14.1 (64 bit). No problems here, and FR seems to be loading faster than before the crash.
Firefox is the only browser I’ve tried but FR is still loading slowly or not at all.
Been that way for weeks.
I tried that, didn't help. Also tried System Restore, which failed to work and hence, didn't help either. I guess I'll just Freep on Firefox and keep hunting for the solution to the problem.
I use Opera for social sites. It’s reliable and I trust it for no good reason.
Screw Mozilla. Haven’t used it since the Pink Nazis refused to accept Brendan Eich as its CEO.
To Hell with the Democrat Thug Party.
