This pic below the media is pushing, including all social media.
These people are vile liars and fake news spreaders. They fake polls then get surprised when they lose. They had their paid thugs out in DC causing violence that create two hour delays getting to the inauguration speech then they take pics before the ceremony started to spread propaganda to say nobody was there, when in reality once people got through the check points and the ceremony was started the crowd size was massive.
Any idea what the crowd count was for the day?
I think it was supposed to be 800K or more expected. No official word yet. They usually use aerial pics and a grid to figure it out, but there were 2 houf delays getting in because of the violence and threats of violence. I do hate these people.
*hour
Huffpuff is pushing an article based off the sparse picture claiming few people were there.
This is why I made this thread. Hopefully Rush and others will deal with this LIE tomorrow.
It’s a disgrace that they are allowed to spread their lies. They have encouraged violence at the inauguration for weeks, then it happens causing delays getting into the area to watch the inauguration and they run with some pic before the ceremony was in full swing. After people got through it filled out as you see in the pics above, one of which is from CNN itself. The left are deranged liars.
Looks like the left has learned a new trick. Deflating crowd size photos. They’re so used to falsely inflating crowds on Hillary’s campaign photos that I’m surprised they could pull that off.
Was anyone able to tell what they’re showing? Original photo taken at first light or on an earlier day.
In the end the only number that counts is 306, the rest are just unneeded vanity and will fade away with time.
No it matters, it does. It’s the kind of lie that causes a deflation and suppression of support for this movement. It’s a lie point blank. I’m glad Spicer called them out.
I have participated in prior marches on Washington and I was also at Woodstock . Believe Me there were more than one million good folks at Trumps Inauguration . The shameless media lives up to my given label of “ MEAN STREAK MEDIA” !!! . . .
My son was there. He said the crowd was not that big.
I looked at the Newseum website's front pages of newspapers from all over the world. A paper called the Maryland Gazette featured an article about people who never did get in due to the blockading of entrances to the unticketed area. I could not find this newspaper to read the second part of the article. Does anyone here have firsthand knowledge about the blockades?
I went to both of Bush43's inaugurations and would have gone to Trump's if there had not been the threat of violence. I did go to the wonderful and peaceful welcome concert on Thursday.
The irony of the left's anti-Trump hate slogans is just amazing. Do they even realize it?
[Its a lie point blank. Im glad Spicer called them out.]
I agree and glad that they were called out but my point, thinking ahead, this movement is going to be moving ahead so fast that their lies will mean absolutely nothing compared to a renewed Republic.
In short, call them out and move on.
Yep. I don't care about crowd size. The people who sent Donald Trump to the White House don't live anywhere near DC and likely had to work on Friday, --as I was doing in Florida.
plus, I would really like to see a pic of the grounds after the crowd departed, side-by-side with a pic of the post-inauguration grounds in 2009 (hint: there will be tons more garbage in one of the pics).
The JG
I thought it was interesting yesterday hearing that the “women’s march” ORGANIZERS estimated their own crowd.
Remember 9-12-09? When there WAS 1.5 million of us in the mall and only “tens of thousands” was reported. The estimate of the organizers was NEVER reported.
So glad PRESIDENT TRUMP made the correction about Friday!
Well there was a reported 420K rides offered which is more than Obama had in 2013. And your eyes aren’t lying are they? You see the pics I’ve posted. There are over 700K in that pic easily.
It’d be better to compare time stamped pics from the same perspective.
Because of the perspective difference, especially in terms of elevation, you can’t actually make out that much a difference in crowd size between the pics. The reality pics look more populated because they’re closer to the crowd.
Note the “from monument” high-elevation pic shows the capitol, about 5 white squares with people on it, then some two level structure. Note also, the 3 small white structures to the left of the mall.
For other pics, at much lower elevation, note the same 3 white structures, now on the right, show people, but those that would be in the high-elevation pic, between the last of those 3 and the two layer structure, cannot not be seen due to the low elevation perspective.
Plus, the people on the grassy area, under the trees, are harder to make out from the high-elevation pics.
Plus, if the pics are taken even a half hour apart, it’d make a diff.
I’m not a fan of the media, but touting this set of pics as evidence of some vast difference in crowd estimates doesn’t work for me.
One additional factor which I expect is significant is the number of Trump supporters who decided not to come due to the leftwing threats of violence (which turned out to be real and serious).
It’s one thing for a young/strong/adventurous person to risk getting caught in a violent protest, but far different for an older person or a middle-aged person with family responsibilities, or a person with physical limitations.
