Tucker Carlson is a good debater, but he was badgering the woman in the same way that CNN goes after Kellyanne Conway.
It makes for good theater, but I also do not like these overly confrontational interviews.
Chris Wallace is better at this. He asks the tough questions, sure, but it defeats the purpose to beat an opponent down like this. You start rooting for the victim.
Don’t misinterpret. I think Tucker is right, but he needs leave the shadow of doubt over questions not properly answered, not crack the whip.
In addition, when they both talk at the same time, all they accomplish is zero communication. It was a wasted segment as far as I’m concerned.
