Or they are stoned all of the time and have gotten too lazy to practice.

They've done a couple of good things.I've borrowed one or two of their CDs from my local library, made a "wav" file of a couple of their songs and burned them onto a CD.
They didn't make a nickel.

I thought I’d get sick of winning so much, but it hasn’t happened yet!

That’s the ticket. Refuse to release an album you could make money on.
That’ll show him (Trump).
Does becoming a democrat destroy brain cells like drinking does? Cause an awful lot of them are REALLY, REALLY dumb.
This affects me about as much as the price of rice in China. Maybe less.

It’s a blow, but I’m sure we’ll soldier on somehow.

Me too. I liked them back in the day, but who would’ve thought they would last this long. They certainly won the musician’s life lottery.

Any drunk person who picks up a Fender Stratocaster is immediately a better guitarist than U2’s “The Edge”...

The last U2 album I got was a free download from iTunes. Songs of Innocence.

Songs of Innocence was a book of poetry by the legendary poet, illustrator, and mystic William Blake. (Tiger, Tiger, burning Bright).
It is astoundingly and earth-shakingly presumptuous, fatuous, and pompous of Bono to usurp this title for his own pusillanimous work.
And I USED to be a U2 fan.

“Astounds me that such a mediocre band has such a following.”
They may one day attain mediocrity, but not likely. They suck.
The next generation’s Grateful Dead. They never attained even mediocrity IMO.
