On their own, it’s beyond doubtful that the Mexicans would have been able to develop anything approaching the capability to manufacture automobiles.
F them and those who have given away our intellectual capital.
I have no sympathy.

I notice that when BMW wanted to build the ultra-sophisticated i3 and i8 they came here and not to Mexico or China.

I have traveled a lot in Mexico. But one of the most astounding things I’ve seen were their scaffoldings. The look like something designed by Hieronymous Bosch. They defied physics!
