No not true, Donald sees his mortality more and more and has reacted by giving himself more to Christ as each day passes.
The black pastors who tested him repeatedly early in the primary campaign came away giving him a big thumbs up. You can’t fool those guys. They know when someone is trying to fool others on faith.
I’m fine with his plans, but I thought our inaugurations were already Christian based procedures. I guess Donald will emphasize that Christian quality in the program. Great.
I’m also okay with various faiths having a brief speaking moment during the program.
This variety of faiths represented can even include the Islam faith, as long as it’s done in English, and contains nothing negative about other faiths, either overtly or covertly. I have met a few Muslims who like our way of life, and have fully assimilated into American Life. I have faith that yes, it can be done. I do like that Donald is as much as possible, doing this his way. Let him put a personal stamp on it, Obama sure did prior to the inaugural with his Greek Columns.
I do not believe he is very religious either but he is very respectful of those who are Christians, Jews and of other peaceful faiths. He knows and understands the importance of religion in people’s lives. Contrast that to OBama.

I am not quite sure what the title is supposed to mean ... does it mean that the pastors who gave invocations at past inaugurations weren’t Christians?
The media made a big deal about Jimmy Carter being “born again” in 1976, and I am almost 100% certain I remember several “men of the cloth” giving invocations at his inauguration, as well as at Reagan’s inaugurations.
Or is this really about “denominationalism” and arguing about who is a “real Christian”?

The begs the question, will this mean liberals will openly and publicly hate on God and his followers because of this? It will be good to get them on record to see them as the evil people they really are. I just wonder if they will be this brazen about it.

That’s what I was saying all last year, something made this guy run. He knew by running he was risking everything: His business, his family, he reputation - which BTW still may get destroyed despite how well he does considering the vicious attacks he gets - and incredibly he decided to go through with it. How many billionaires would take that risk for probably the most stressful job in the world and at 70 years old? The Lord just did not want the likes of Hillary as President because it would not only affect the USA but the rest of the world as well. The USA is a country built on miracles. The Revolutionary war was a miracle, we never should have won that war, Washington said so himself. The Civil war which was as bad is can get - The country miraculously made it through that. WW2, the Cold war, Vietnam war, 50 years of the left trying to destroy the country at right at the brink of success they get knocked down from this guy who came out of nowhere, it’s pretty amazing. It truly is “One Nation under God”

The silliest thing that I have read all day. Every Presidential inauguration has Christian pastors leading prayers.
I think earlier that may have been true. IMO, throughout the campaign, and into the Presidency, God has been increasing his spiritual awareness daily.

Not all Christian religions disallow women in leadership roles like the Catholic Faith. Some (Protestant, maybe Methodist) are fine with it. We, as a party, will benefit by giving voice to these few women of faith, along with anyone else.
Thanks for the reminder of that inane benediction given by Rev. Lowery at Obama’s inaugural. Little did we know then that his comments set the stage for eight years of racial upheavals.
