During a new interview with comedian Marc Maron on the WTF podcast, Bruce Springsteen questioned President-elect Donald Trump’s basic “competency” three weeks before he’s set to take the oath of office. “I’ve felt disgust before, but never the kind of fear that you feel now,” Springsteen said. “It’s as simple as the fear of, is someone simply competent enough to do this particular job? Do they simply have the pure competence to be put in the position of such responsibility?” The rocker, who campaigned for Hillary Clinton, went on to express his concerns that Trump’s campaign unleashed “bigotry, racism, intolerance” that will be difficult to quell now that he will be in the White House. “Whether it’s a rise in hate crimes, people feeling they have license to speak and behave in ways that previously were considered un-American and are un-American,” Springsteen added. “That’s what he’s appealing to. My fears are that those things find a place in ordinary civil society.”

I never understood the appeal of this guy or his music.

The way springsteen goes all leftist, all the time, I have to wonder if he really was born in the USA.
I think I saw him in a fancy restaurant in one of the casinos down here - he was saying, "I'm Bruce and I'll be taking care of you tonight"....
He spoke out similarly the day after Reagan was elected saying it was “scary.” Goes to show you how much he know.s

a nothing but self absorbed man. The kind who even when seemingly doing good is really getting some sort of emotional or other reward for it.
Bruce never had real talent but just came on the scene at a time and filled a space for the devil to use to sway many many people.
