2016 has to be one of the worst for celebrity deaths. As for M*A*S*H*, it's hard to believe so many have died already. RIP ...

It is like Star Trek — we are down to listing who is still alive.
2016 seemed particularly cruel to entertainers. Just not the right ones.

Although I thank you for posting this news, because Mr. Christopher was a charming, likable actor, I also think we need to take celebrity worship down a peg or two. So, with that in mind, you can use
this link to see the number of deaths worldwide:
55.3 million people die each year 151,600 people die each day
6,316 people die each hour
The only reason we have the impression that more celebrities seem to be dying and frequently is due to the inordinate amount of media coverage their deaths receive.

it's hard to believe so many have died already. RIP ...And so many are dying that I just kinda assumed were already dead.
I get to mourn them again.

As Pat O’Brian and Bing Crosby was to the movies and the priesthood, so was William Christopher to television.

I don’t know anything about him but he played that part so well the man seemed completely real.
RIP William Christopher.

If I was an actor invited to be on the cast of MASH I would have most wanted the role of Major Sidney Friedman or Father Mulcahey.
