Yes it would be a blanket pardon for all actions or inactions taken by the individual up to the moment the pardon was signed. Any current or future or past prosecutions or investigations are irrelevant. The pardon is connected with the person’s actions. That, by the way, is what happened with the GRF pardon of RMN — President Ford pardoned Richard Nixon for any actions he took up to the moment of the pardon

That’s pretty clear. So yes, I expect our President will grant her a pardon but that won’t exempt Huma, Cheryl Mills, and others at her State Department inner circle or the pay for play people in the Clinton Crime Family from getting the deserved justice.
What are you talking about? No one has suggested prosecuting Obama for issuing a pardon.
Obama may have to worry about his sealed records being opened before he hands out pardons.

On a related note, I assume that a pardon doesn't allow the pardoned criminal keep the proceeds from their criminal activity. What would stop the Trump Justice Department from going after the assets of the Clinton Foundation if it has been used as a vehicle for a pay-to-play scheme and money laundering? If the Clinton Foundation funds are the product of an illegal act, isn't it still a crime to hold funds which are the known product of a crime? Pardons can only be given for past crimes and holding illegal funds is a current, on-going crime which cannot be pardoned because it is still continuing. Right? I don't think the Clintons can have their cake and eat it too.
It seems it would not only be hillary that would need to be “pardoned” but dozens of other guilty players. Not that I wouldn’t put it past them.
Otherwise,there is a likelihood of someone spilling the beans and or someone writing a tell all book.
