Yep, getting close to time to sue these schools back to the stone ages (but it seems like they are there already).

She should sue not only the college, but also each trustee of the college individually, for fraud and breach of fiduciary duty. They cheated this young woman and her family out of their money. They are lower than Everest University in my opinion.
