This 18 month long and polarizing American election has been truly surreal+absurd.
One of the truly strange effects of this election is that certain of my female friendships that had endured for decades—through good times and bad times; through career highs and career failures; through personal disappointment;through joy, happiness and the thrill of victory and personal achievement; through marriages, children, divorce, sickness and even death of loved ones or partners; basically, through life- the good, the very bad and the truly ugly—could not withstand this friggin’ election.
News flash...Facebook friends aren’t really friends.

Our niece unfriended me the day after the election. She was ranting about the racists who voted for Trump, and said “look at the stock market...it’s TANKING!!!” My only reply was “ market is up 165 and rising”. Boom, I was no longer part of her life.
There’s somewhere around 3.5 billion women in the world. Say you set aside 30 years for them, never eat, sleep, work or do anything fun.
You’ll have to meet over 3 women a second to get through them all.
You don’t have time to waste on that psycho.
Fred Reed talks a lot about Asian and Mexican women being excellent choices, and he backs it up with facts. He say’s American women are poison.
I tend to agree, and I have four daughters and three grand daughters. My wife is one of the very rare good ones.
BTW, she agrees with me.
My specialist, a male, was happy Trump won. Former military.
I don’t care. Friend me or unfriend me, more power to you.

Definition of a Liberal Friend - a person who has not yet had the opportunity to turn you in to the Secret Police for placement in a concentration camp.

I have to give Props to you on this. That is awesome.
The identity politics that has reached the point today of starting sentences with “I identify as” or “my demographics let me give this opinion ...” began around that point as “we’re good, moral, tolerant, rational, educated, you can look down on everyone else as outside of the elite self-appointed tribe”.
It was compounded by liberals importing ethnic minorities intentionally to fracture American society into competing groups and telling the existing groups “You’re under siege, form tight tribes for protection, and follow the people who will protect and lead you - Democrats!”
So now people tend to identify with their demographic tribe tightly, and the merging of ideology (faith/nonfaith) and demographic identity means the tribal forces enforce political conformity - and if you violate the faith/ideology, you’re expelled from the tribe as not really a member or punished as a traitor.
Hence liberals can say conservative women aren’t really women, conservative blacks are traitors to the race.
Awesome! Payback is a bitch.

I wrote off any communication with anyone who voted for Obama. Either they hate this country, or are too stupid to recognize what he is.
