Things work differently now. Deal with it
Get used to this: America elects a president who does not do things in conventional ways, in large part because Americans have lost faith in the political class’s conventional ways of doing things. So here comes the new president, not following convention because he has little use for it.
The political class, which despises this man and refuses to accept that there could possibly be anything wrong with the way they’ve always done things, reacts to the new president’s every eschewing of convention by proclaiming: He’s so stupid! He doesn’t know how things are done!
Yeah, we only talk with terrorist these days.
The left would be happy if China took over Taiwan.
Under HilLiARy they probably would have.
I am amazed they didn’t under Obama. He would have done NOTHING to stop them.
and if he refused the call, it would have been, “Trump boasts of bringing a new Foreign Policy tough on China, but falls like a house of cards, with refusal to take Taiwanese president’s call.”
Next thing you know, the press will be in a tizzy because Trump used his salad fork instead of the dinner fork ,and all the world will be in an uproar.

They’re not really in a meltdown. It’s all staged. All the media is acting in concert to make it appear as if Trump did something really bad. It’s phony fake fraud outrage. They are deliberately and intentionally hiding the FACT that Trump did not make the call. They manipulate the reader with words, such as “Trump’s call”.
They are putting a lie out there, knowing full well that it’s nearly impossible to change the public’s perception once a lie is well established.

For weeks, “O” traveled the world BEFORE he was inaugurated meeting with all and sundry (saying g&^ knows about AFTER he would take office.

Has ANYONE pointed out the the President-Elect did NOT place the call to the president of Taiwan?
It was the President of Taiwan who placed the call, of congratulatory nature, to the President-ELECT.
It was “another” President who went around apologizing to everyone in sight.
Trump merely picked up the phone.
