Only one question: Who do I need to invest in?

Nah ! USS Hunley gets the 2nd build, first build is the USS Turtle. First American submarine in combat! Built by a Connecticut inventor named Bushnell. Tried but failed to sink a British ship in the Revolution. It also successfully brought the crew (crew of 1 !) back!

For making liberal heads explode i would take some initial plans of the Kriegsmarine H44 class battleship, keep one battery of the 20’ guns but build a railgun AND a Metalstorm style launcher of just off the top of my head 20 to 30mm rounds, a rate of fire far faster than any gatling guns but designed to ward of swarms of anything from speedboats to thousands of aerial drones.
The Kriegsmarine H44 was bigger than the Iowa Class technically to rival the Montana Class. Bigger than the Musashi.

Need to rebuild the steel plants that were shut down by liberals, especially on the west coast though i can arguably say Trump might bypass Kallifornica.
We do NOT need our warships built with cheap chinese steel, they deliberately make it right on the edge of useless, just enough to pass the tests, but still subgrade compared to US steel or even german steel.

Arguably subs are the most lethal, if i was asked to propose a future study of underwater boats i could go the route of building drone subs that mimic biologicals, like killer whales, tens of thousands built, badically advanced AI super torpedos that can sit on station for months, are deep diving, can surface to launch aerial drones or themselves launch advanced torpedos. Infiltrators.Terminators.

Take an Iowa class battleship out of mothballs. Give nuclear propulsion and state of the tech. New ammo for the 16 inch guns and a panoply of offensive and defensive missiles. Then sail her up and down the Formosa straight 24/7/365 I like this idea. Give it 16 inch rail guns.

I love your idea of bringing back Indian names like the USN used during the War Between the States. They had a certain ring to them that has never been duplicated. RACIST!

"Then sail her up and down the Formosa straight 24/7/365 " I like it. But I think we can do better.

"The US Navys Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) are over budget, far behind schedule and cannot perform any of their designated missions. Other than that, they somehow usually manage to float." Here is the problem with little scrappy ships:

...first build is the USS Turtle. People will think they named it after Mitch McConnell.
