Thanks for the correction. It is what I get for going from memory!

Argentina used to have better weapons laws than Chile. I am not certain at present.

Chile used to be that you had to be registered and so did your handgun.

In the country rifles and shotguns were allowed IIRC but not in the capital.

Have no idea what the laws are now except that you do still have to get an equivalent of a CCP to carry.
