Children traumatized by 2016 Election, with “profoundly negative effect”

Good grief:

A new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center showed children have been negatively impacted by the election, with kids' classroom climate suffering drastically.

The Monday report, which surveyed 10,000 teachers across the U.S., found many students were experiencing higher anxiety and there were more reported cases of "verbal harassment, the use of slurs and derogatory language, and disturbing incidents involving swastikas, Nazi salutes and Confederate flags."

According to the survey's findings, nine out of 10 educators saw a negative impact on students' mood and behavior after the election. Eight out of 10 educators reported higher anxiety by marginalized students.

Half of educators said they heard students targeting each other based on who they would have voted for.

You know who I blame? The parents for scare-mongering their children. Let alone for raising the safe space generation.

Cue the violins and read the nauseating angst and melodrama:

Who's responsible? Teachers who lack the self-awareness to see their own bias for what it is, and passing their beliefs on to impressionable students.

Who's to be held accountable? Much of mainstream media for pushing the narrative of Trump as the second-coming of Hitler.

It's not like Bush's election wasn't without protest.

Remember Bushitler? The Democratic Underground and Kos Kiddie-types figured the Bush regime would declare Martial Law and keep himself in power beyond his 2nd term; Infowars readers predicted an Obama third term. FEMA camps? 1.6 billion rounds purchase by Homeland Security? Yeah, to do what? Hysteria. Distortions. Conspiracy. Paranoia.

My kids, 14 year old twins are just fine, they took a little grief at school for supporting Trump though. One day after the election, they were back to thinking about the opposite sex. Just as it should be.

Yep.

Nationalizing education - with the ready assistance of the RINOs - was a key step in the Marxist warfare waged against this country.

My middle school daughter is conservative but been silent on it at school. Another girl “came out” pro-Trump before the election and was mercilessly harassed, threatened for it.
My son has been more outspoken on his beliefs, like when a kid showed up for Halloween as Trump and shouted “build a wall” to be scary and my son started a chant of “build a wall, build it tall”, which actually terrified the other kid when other children joined in.
After the election, there have been a few more kids admitting, yes, I’m conservative, but still bad harassment and domineering by liberals.
Political correctness is fascism in the name of feelings, by labeling other views and even whole categories of topics “impolite”, then saying society’s morality says you can’t say these things. It is reinforced by the iron fist of “if you utter hate speech, words equal violence, so I can hit you”, backed up by the liberal hate mobs blocking access to events, violence caught on video and documented via the Hillbullies hash tag and whitegirlbleedalot.com site.
So liberals are fascists with better branding of “love, peace and tolerance” instead of “strength, unity”.

Liberals actually advocate “for the planet” more now, since children can grow up to have contrary views, whereas the planet only speaks through its self appointed guardians.
And you can argue “for the planet” for any worldwide totalitarian ideology and enforce it whether or not someone has children.

If kids are traumatized its because of how their “parents” have reacted to the election.

My grandchildren were not traumatized by the election but they did provide us with entertainment.

My granddaughter, age 6 said we had to vote for Trump because if Hillary won we would be so poor she and her brother would have to ride horses to school (30 miles!) because we would not have cars and pickups. We have no idea where that came from but it was funny.

My grandson, age 5 had a classroom election where they had their own candidates that gave speeches and then they all voted. He voted for Trump, and when his teacher told him Trump was not there and he should vote for one of the children that ran for President he said Trump was going to win no matter who ran.

I guess the moral of the story is the election was not traumatic for children that supported Trump.

Far too many life forms that can barely toast, bread procreate and vote.

This needs to be stopped.
