Okay, I will admit—I think Trump has billionaires overrepresented in his early leadership choices, but the son of a billionaire (charter member of the lucky sperm club) is the last guy I think of as prepared to understand the companies we should be supporting (insofar as we are to have such a basically unnecessary department).

Even though Ricketts were opposed to him in the beginning..it appears they turned around late in the game and helped him win by getting some PACs on board.
So this is probably the pay back.

Don't know much about this Ricketts guy. What I do know is that the new Cubs owner turned the Cubs franchise around in four years and is managing to rebuild the Cubs ball park area in Rahm’s world. The guy has vision and knows how to execute in enemy territory..

Also, Wilbur Ross was a bond holder of one of Trump’s bankrupt companies. The way Trump handled the bankruptcy really impressed Ross. That is why he was and is a big Trump supporter.
