True. But their next reaction will be to improve the message about their policies, not the policies themselves. They are a hard-left party at this point and could not hold their coalition together with even a slight approach to moderation.
Trouble is, they have to turnout minority voters each election and that means ginning up riots and putting out inflammatory rhetoric. That turns off regular Americans.
