I think it all ends up on youtube anyways.

We discontinued our dish network several months ago. With our Google Chrome hooked into our television, we are able to watch the detective/crime shows on Netflix and ID Discovery has an app that you can download also.
We just brought one today. A Roku thingy. I am letting my husband puzzle out how to use it, and then he can train me. I don’t like change. But both he and I are fed up with cable and the extortion.
It’s a change for the better. You’re free, free at last!
LOL, well almost. I am keeping the cable for a week or two until I get quite comfortable with the change. I will say though, the picture quality is much better with the Roku thingy.
Man do I miss having a damn dial to turn. When I was a youngn’ we had three channels. We turned a dial to switch channels. We mostly played outdoors as we weren’t allowed to touch the TV.
It’s a learning curve over time to get adapted. After that it will seem like you kicked a bad habit. Ahhh, nothing like laying on the couch going through all the youtube stuff. Never boring!
Coincidentally, there is a great deal on a fantastic TV antenna. Best Buy has the Antennas Direct ClearStream 4V for $80. It normally sells for about $125 and has a 70-mile range.
