Listen to his own words. Read it and accept it. The South wanted to negotiate. He said it. What is your cognitive problem?

Listen to his own words. Read it and accept it. The South wanted to negotiate. He said it. What is your cognitive problem? Lincoln said it, Davis did not. In his letter to Lincoln introducing the Confederate representatives there was no mention about negotiating any payments for anything. Or negotiating anything else that wasn't of interest to the Confederacy.

The South wanted to negotiate. Bwahahahaha! Yea, sure. They practically invented negotiation at the point of a sword.
